Hey all! It’s the first blogoversary of my “Moving Happiness Home™” moving blog and all I can say is wow! Wow! Wow! It’s been so much fun writing about moving, California and going green that I wanted to celebrate my first moving blog anniversary with you! Around this time last year I remember a photoshoot with NorthStar Moving® to promote my moving blog and the green moving company sector of the moving process. The photoshoot and moving blog was even featured in Direction Magazine! I’ve decided to highlight some of my favorite moving blog sections for my moving blog anniversary. Getting to write about NorthStar Moving® moving the stars and my favorite places to move to in the Los Angeles area are just some things making blogging a blast!

And what moving blog doesn’t have a tips section? Instead of writing moving and packing tips, I’ve decided to name my moving blog tips section Snappy Tips™ because my name is Snap! Get it? Get it? City Snapshots is a my moving blog category featuring awesome cities to get moving to. Whether traveling or moving, my moving blog focuses Los Angeles cities as well as international places!
From Westwood to Santa Clarita to Portland and even to the Dominican Republic and Paris it’s so much fun to write about cities for my moving blog! I love the beach, LA, traveling and I love to write, so this category is perfect for me. Searching Flickr for pics and getting creative about cities for my moving blog moves happiness into my day! I’ve also learned a lot about where I live through my moving blog. I never would have thought Downtown LA had a Purple Patrol to keep the area safe and clean!
Moving Blog Tips
Every blog needs great tips for its readers and since I have a green moving blog, I’ve focused on the greening and moving processes. From Do It Yourself Moving to gift tips and recipes for the holidays, I write about all occasions focusing on the home. After the Japan earthquake and tsunami in March 2011, I wrote a special moving blog post about earthquake preparedness. My moving blog is into safety too!
