Hunger Fighting Hero Award

The Hunger Fighting Hero is awarded by Move for Hunger to organizations that take part in food donations efforts, from hosting a food drive to assisting in one. In addition to hosting our annual food drive, we are called from time to time to assist in transporting food donations. We received this awards after we picked up 14,926 pounds of food (which equates to 12,438 meals!) from the Boy Scouts annual food drive in the bay area, and delivered it to the Alameda County Community Bank in November 2021.
