NorthStar Moving Collects Enough Food to Provide 25,000 Meals

Los Angeles, CA, June 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NorthStar Moving®, the leading eco-luxury mover in California, announced today that it was awarded the California Moving & Storage Association and Move for Hunger 2016 Certificate of Achievement Award for the second consecutive year. The award is given to moving companies that go above and beyond to fight hunger in their greater community. 

NorthStar Moving was also recognized by Move for Hunger for collecting enough food to provide over 25,000 life-saving meals to their community, an enormous meal milestone. “NorthStar Moving has been one of our most reliable supporters,” said Move For Hunger’s Executive Director/Founder, Adam Lowy. “From food drives to food rescues, Laura McHolm and her staff have embraced every aspect of the Move For Hunger program. Currently, NorthStar Moving is hosting their 5th Annual “Let’s Send Hunger Packing!” food drive in partnership with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, which runs through June 16th. The Let’s Send Hunger Packing food drive feeds hungry children in Los Angeles and Orange County. Donations are now being accepted at 27 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices.
