This week is random acts of kindness week! I love this week because there are so many ways to spread kindness. Whether you’re doing it large scale or simply holding the door for someone else, any way you celebrate is great.

 Small Random Acts of Kindness

It’s easy to be kind. Take a look at all the little things you can do.

  • This week spread kindness by cooking someone a delicious meal like these baked zucchini fritters or these yummy cauliflower “steaks” with lentils.
  • Pay for the person’s meal behind you at the drive-in.
  • Brighten up the work day by bringing snacks to work for your co-workers.
  • Show someone you care by writing a “this is just to say” letter.
  • Let someone go ahead of you in the grocery store line.
  • Bring joy to someone by paying a stranger’s parking meter.
  • Smiles can go a long way. Turn someone’s frown upside down and share a smile!
  • Put together a bag of toiletries and give them out to homeless in your community.

Big Random Acts of Kindness

Make an even bigger impact by spreading kindness on a large scale.

  • Give someone the gift of happiness while also giving back to the earth. Plant or dedicate a tree in their honor.
  • Give of yourself in the greatest way possible by registering as an organ donor.
  • You can even donate blood or plasma!
  • Help a furry friend by donating to one of my favorite charities, Karma Rescue.
  • Sponsor a child through the Make-A-Wish foundation!
  • Spread kindness through education through Claire’s Place Foundation.
  • Being kind can be fun too. Get some friends together and try out this random acts of kindness scavenger hunt. Print out kindness cards and earn one each time you complete a random act of kindness!
