Christmas is almost here! Can you believe it? It seems like December flew by. Where did the time go? I’ve still got a few last minute things to take care of, including getting a tree! There’s tons of different kinds of Christmas trees to choose from. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite types.

Choosing A Tree

There’s plenty to keep in mind when choosing a tree. Remember to ask yourself important questions like:

  • What’s my budget?
  • What kind of options are there?
  • Can I properly care for this type of tree?
  • How do I dispose of it after?
  • Is it a good size for my home?

        Living Trees

Living Christmas trees are one of the many ways you can stay green this holiday season.  Living trees are haven’t been cut, and are afterwards replanted. There are lots of places that offer a living tree alternative. If you do decide to get a living Christmas tree, make sure to give it plenty of water so it can return to the soil in good shape.

Christmas trees don’t always have to be big or even real. They come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes the greenest way to celebrate is by getting an artificial one. You can even make your own tree out of whatever you want. Upcycling is always a great way to save green and stay green. Turn any outdoor tree into a Christmas tree with a little creativity and decor. No matter what kind of tree you choose, make sure you properly dispose of it.
