For a whole month every summer, Orange County is the place to be for one of the best county fairs in the country! The OC Fair is full of fun rides, vendors, food, performers, animals, and more! The fairgrounds are also a great place to go for weekly food truck gatherings, or you can catch your favorite band at the Pacific Amphitheatre.
Orange County Shopping
Shop till you drop in Orange County! With shopping meccas such as Fashion Island in Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, and the Irvine Spectrum, you’ll be in shopping heaven. These are also great places just to spend a nice night out for dinner and a movie or hanging out with friends.
Orange County Beaches and Balboa Island
Love the beach? You’ll love Orange County! With world-famous beaches like Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, you can go surfing, fishing, boogie boarding, or my favorite: beach reading. (It’s such a workout!) For the ocean animals lovers, there are dog-friendly OC beaches, and you can even go whale watching at places like Newport Beach or Balboa Island! Balboa Island, made famous by the TV show Arrested Development, is a great place to spend a day eating frozen bananas and enjoying the sunshine.
